A true student of the game and well on his way to visiting all 92 league grounds, Ross’s footballing journey has been firmly rooted in grassroots. He first began with Yate United, where he managed a youth side from the age of 7 right through to 16, before later taking on the role of Club Chairman.

More recently, Ross has been heavily involved with Yate Town, helping to establish the club’s U18 Youth Development squads competing in both the Western Counties and Bristol Combination Leagues. Now in just their second season, the project has grown to four U18 squads with over 70 players representing the club.

Alongside this, he serves as a committee member for both the Western Counties and Bristol Combination leagues, and also sits on the Yate Town management committee. His passion lies in developing the game at grassroots and youth level, creating pathways for young players while continuing his own journey in football.
