We congratulate Tiverton Town on getting to the FA Youth Cup 2nd Round Proper only to be beaten by Cambridge Utd whose parent club compete in Division 2 of the EFL. This was the third attempt to get the match played due to the weather. Eventually it was played at St Ives Town FC who play in the Southern League.
The draw for the Quarter Finals took place at the November meeting of the Management Committee with a number of intriguing encounters which are now showing on this website. The most intriguing one places Portishead Town who are top of the Premier Division at home to either Tiverton Town or Bishops Lydeard who complete their fixture on 4th December at Bishops Lydeard. Looking at the other ties, we have Keynsham Town at home to Hallen which is too close to call and Yate Town vying with Odd Down. Although from different divisions this one is going to be tight. The final tie is Paulton Rovers v Longwell Green Sports who have just been promoted from North Division and are expected to be stern opposition for their hosts.
Here are the Cup dates:

In the Somerset FA County Cup, the following clubs are through to the 3rd Round; Bishops Lydeard, Bridgwater Utd, Chard Town, Frome Town, Odd Down, Portishead Town and Wells City. Congratulations to those clubs.
In the League programme there are signs of early leaders where Portishead Town are beginning to pull ahead of the field with Taunton Town (newly promoted) and Odd Down are shoulder to shoulder at the top of the Premier Division. In Division North, three teams are neck and neck ,Almondsbury, Brislington and Keynsham Town whilst in Division Central Hengrove have put on a spurt to head the table by six points although Bristol Manor Farm remain the dark horse of the group. Wellington have their noses in front of new boys Willand Rovers and Chard Town in Division South. It looks like a great battle is beginning in all divisions.
